IMO Journey to America

Project International Monitoring undertakes Interviewjourneys to get insights into the areaspecific approaches for the advancement of innovative ability. Renowned, international experts in the fields of work structuring, educationresearch and capacity building will be interviewed about their personal outlook on innovation and the designs of their respective national innovationsystems. At the same time these interviews will be used to examine the results of the german A-L-K-program from an international point of view.

Within our journey to South-America we have been visiting scientists and practitioners in Chile and Brazil.

Prof. Juan Pablo Torro Cifuentes is psychologist at the University of Chile. He has been studiing at the University of Erlangen - Nürnberg in Germany and has been vizepresident of the collegue of chilenian psychologists from 1988 - 1990. He also has been the chilenian ambassador of the interamerican corporation of psychologists. Within his research activities he analyzes the influence of work design on the psyche and identity of employees.

Patrizio Tonelli (Fundation SOL, Santiago de Chile) is Phd of history and politics. At the University of Bologna (Italy) he was involved in research projects concerning the italian and international trade union movement of the last 60 years. He collaborated with the School of History of Universidad Diego Portales and now coordinates several research projects at Centre for industrial relations at the Economic and Administrative Science Faculty (FACE) of Central University. He also coordinates training programmes for union leaders.
